A History of Value Added Investment

Cydean Group LLC was founded in 2007 to continue its founder’s successful “value-added” approach to real estate investment.  The company seeks multi-family apartment investment opportunities in low to moderate income neighborhoods in the New York metropolitan area.  Through its use of quantitative and qualitative criteria, Cydean Group LLC creates value in properties that have historically been mismanaged or under-capitalized.  The company’s management team feels this approach to real estate investment can result in superior risk adjusted returns.  


Small Opportunities, Outsize Returns

The company believes its niche focus on smaller residential properties in low to middle income (LMI) neighborhoods limits competition from larger institutions.  In addition, current economic and demographic trends create a unique investment opportunity for residential real estate investors with adequate capital.  Its investments may be in individual real estate assets or multi-property portfolios and will primarily be structured as equity investments.
